North-South means a Lot
By STEPHEN CORNELL
Bucks County Courier Times
When Council Rock-North and Council Rock-South meet in South's gym tonight, more than the usual bragging rights will be at stake. It's a key game in the Suburban One race.
CR-South (6-1 overall, 5-1 SOL) has lost only to CR-North, while the Indians (4-1, 4-1) have lost only to Central Bucks South.
The Golden Hawks have been led by junior outside hitter Kandice Watson, senior setter Julie Stocklos and senior middle blocker Sarah Buonomo.
CR-North, which still hasn't played or practiced at home because the school's gym is being
renovated, has gotten outstanding play from senior outside hitter Maggie Devitt and sophomore setter Kelly Mee.
"(Devitt) is doing an outstanding job. She's doing things that are really impressive to coaches who look for the little things," CR-North coach Mike Flaherty said.
