Facing an inexperienced Tennent team, NORTH came away with a very
steady 3 game victory ( 25-15; 25-18; 25-10) Great serving by Jill Batten
set the pace for a fast start, leading to even a faster finish as NORTH
pulled away from a late game 14-14 tie to take game #1 (25-15). To their credit
Tennent hung very tough in Game 2 before NORTH's consistent pressure wore
Tennent
down. Game 3 was as steady as the opening 2 games and NORTH pulled away to shut
the
door on this victory.
This is how a good team needs to put away an inexperienced opponent,
everyone played together with great composure and took care of business
efficiently.
