Monday 10/10 Home vs Tennent 3:30PM
The Killer "B's" from NORTH were in complete control today against
a Tennent team that was clearly outmanned. The "B's" took over Game# 1
at 13-13 with Tennent thinking they had some life, when Colleen Kluber
went on a 9-0 serving run, with everyone else buzzing around the ball,
Tennent had no chance as NORTH ran away to a 25-14 victory.
Game #2 started the same way Game# 1 ended, as the "B's" were relentless,
jumping out early and taking this game 25-9. NORTH was led by some spirited
play from Layne Adams who provided a great presence on both sides of the net,
as well as the usual leadership we have grown to expect from Aly Hinton,
Krysta and Kelly Mee, and Caitlin Reinert.
Game# 3 was time for some experimenting from Dr. Flahertstein, as
NORTH was able to get some significant contributions from their strong bench.
Hali Stark and Carley Casado held the fort on the back line, while Brittany
Sumpf and Kate Campbell battled to handle the net play. It was great to see
everyone contribute and to see the "B's" come away with a hardfought 25-23
victory.
Tomorrow night the "B's" need to come out Composed, Confident ; and Competitive.
Pennsbury is always tough and is the benchmark for where NORTH wants to be. It
will
take a high energy hustle to stay with Pennsbury, and we all know that you are
prepared to battle. Believe in yourselves and great things will happen. GO NORTH
!!!
