Tuesday 10/19 SENIOR NIGHT vs
Norristown 5:00PM
Congratulations to all our Seniors on a great night, and a FUN game
against Norristown. Senior Night is always tough to get focused, and tonight
was no different than the norm, however, Senior Night is not about crisp play,
strong defense , and dominate play. It is about having one last chance to have
the Seniors play together... Mission Accomplished !!! Who was that big kid
setting
for NORTH tonight? what soft hands , and great defense from her also, way to
protect
your face. Great job, Aly !!! How about the serving of the "other" Mee kid, you
know
the one with the pink hair, great run in Game #2 , what was that like 9 or 10
unanswered points ? I'll have to check with Mr. Batten, but I think there were
at least
5 aces in that run... unofficially a new ROCK RECORD... Let's face it, the game
was
not the prettiest, but the spirit and camaraderie were. Finishing the Regular
Season
with 12 wins and only 3 losses is something to be very proud of, and should not
be
taken lightly, but when all is said and done and we put the balls away for the
year
and your NORTH careers, you will remember the great friendships over all the
wins
and losses. Now its time to focus on the goal you have been working for since
last
season ended, all the hours at Northampton getting beat up by Kinsey, all the
practices,
bus rides , and tournaments have led to the DISTRICTS. At press time we do not
know
who you will play or where, but ultimately it does not matter, you have what it
takes
to play with any team in the District. Stay focused on the task at hand, work
hard,
play hard, and Rock the rest of the district!!!
I almost forgot.... How about a little celebration for Kinsey's 1st
"varsity" win?
She used a unique lineup, but made the most of it .... winning in 3 is always
nice.
