District 1 Quarter-Finals vs CR
SOUTH
It is hard to believe that it's time to put the balls
away from another great season. Disappointing as this
game against CR SOUTH turned out to be, we need to remember
just how much this group of girls has accomplished. At the end
of last year a very determined group of girls who believed in
each other vowed to stick together through the Club Season
so that they could improve and make a run a finding a berth
in the State tournament. As improbable as it seemed through
the winter and spring, this group came within 1 lousy point
( and one very lousy call) from reaching their goal. Its OK
to be disappointed, but everyone on this team should be very
PROUD. To all the Seniors you have brought a passion for the
game that should serve as a great example to the underclassmen.
For Colleen and Aly who have come so close now 3 years in row,
keep you heads up high, only the truly elite programs get this
far each year. To get there 3 years in row is a testament to
your varsity careers. Its been a great run, you were not beaten
tonight , you simply ran out of time and luck. GO NORTH!!!
